Asian Slaw and Turkey Burger

Asian Burgers

These burgers have a nice zip to them.  Great side for this is brown fried rice.

As an option for the topping you can toss the Napa cabbage with teriyaki, cilantro and slivered almonds.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 4 scallions chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsp. tamari soy sauce
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • 1/4 Napa cabbage chopped
  • 1/2 cup gluten free bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. Teriyaki sauce
  • Dressing:
  • 2 tsp. wasabi paste
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tsp. tamari soy sauce

Instructions

  • 1. Mix the ground turkey, peppers, scallions, egg bread crumbs, soy and teriyaki sauce together.
  • 2. Form into 4 patties and bake, grill or pan fry burgers.
  • 3. Enjoy topped with Napa cabbage and dressing.
