Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground chicken
  • 1 avocado, peeled, halved and diced
  • 1 tspn. of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. of pepper
  • optional: instead of salt and pepper you can use your favorite burger seasoning. I like Weber's and add salt to it.

Instructions

  • 1. Put the ground chicken in a bowl.
  • 2. Add diced avocado.
  • 3. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 4. Make 4 even size patties.
  • 5. Once your grill is pre-heated on medium temperature add burgers and cook 5-6 minutes on each side.
  • 6. optional: I usually double the recipe and may even freeze the burgers once cooked and defrost when I need a really quick lunch or dinner. These go good with just about any condiment: mayo, bbq sauce, chipotle mayo. I wrap mine in lettuce or just eat it with a fork, but Scharr makes good gluten free buns if you feel a burger just isn't a burger without a bun. Daiya cheese can be melted on top too for a great dairy free option. Their pepper jack really adds some spice to this.
