Healthy French Toast

French Toast

Instead of the traditional French Toast, you can prepare this recipe like a casserole.  Just rip bread into shreds and soak in egg mixture for about 1 hour.

Before baking, top with slivered almonds. Bake 30 minutes on 350 degrees.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 loaf of whole grain bread
  • 1/3 cup of raw slivered almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. 1/2 & 1/2
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 droppers of liquid toffee crunch stevia
  • 2 Tbsp. raw coconut oil

Instructions

  • 1. Beat eggs with cream and stevia.
  • 2. Soak each slice of bread in mixture for about 1 minute on each side.
  • 3. Press each side of the bread into slivered almonds.
  • 4. Cook on frying pan greased with raw coconut oil for about 2 minutes on each side, or until almonds brown.
  • 5. After it cools top it with fresh blueberries, strawberries and chopped raw pecans or walnuts.
  • 6. Drizzle with agave syrup.
