Granola Bars

Super kid friendly dessert or snack, that is dairy free.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of oats
  • 1 cup of packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup of wheat germ
  • 1.5 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup of honey
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Mix together oats, brown sugar, wheat germ, cinnamon, flour, raisins and salt.
  • 3. Make a well in the center and pour in the honey, egg, oil and vanilla.
  • 4. Mix well using your hands.
  • 5. Pat the mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 pan.
  • 6. Bake for 30 minutes, until the bars begin to turn golden at the edges.
  • 7. Cool for 5 minutes before cutting into bars. Cool for 5 minutes before cutting into bars. Cool for 5 minutes before cutting into bars.
