Jamaican Jerk Burgers

This is a terrific all natural burger right off the grill.  These burgers are all natural, packed with veggies and flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of ground turkey
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 1 carrot shredded
  • ¼ green cabbage shredded
  • ¼ purple cabbage shredded
  • 3 Tablespoons of Jamaican Jerk Seasoning
  • 3 Tablespoons of Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 5 green onions, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons of sea salt

Instructions

  • 1. Take the shredded cabbage (purple and green) and put in a bowl.
  • 2. Add 1 Tablespoon of Jamaican Jerk Seasoning, Mayonnaise, Apple Cider Vinegar, ½ teaspoon of sea salt, ½ shredded carrot, ½ of the diced red pepper and ½ green onion.
  • 3. Toss together, and refrigerate until serving.
  • 4. Put ground turkey in a bowl and add ½ diced red pepper, ½ diced carrot, diced green onion,2 Tablespoons of Jamaican Jerk seasoning, and 1.5 teaspoons of sea salt.
  • 5. Mix well with your hands and turn into 4 burger patties.
  • 6. Grill burgers on an outdoor grill or griddle until fully cooked.
  • 7. Serve topped with the Jamaican jerk slaw.
  • 8. Buns are optional.
